Profhilo is a unique, ultra-pure hyaluronic acid gel. When injected it stimulates the cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and attract water to the deeper skin layers.
It has a prolonged stimulating effect on the skin and will gradually release over a period of time, ensuring long lasting benefits to skin structure and appearance. The stimulation of the skin cells will result in firmer skin, improved hydration and overall skin texture, resulting in a fresher, smoother and healthier appearance.
Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface and is absorbed within a 2cm radius of the injection site. It is quickly dispersed, there is no need for massage and there is no risk of bumps. Five injection points are required each side for facial treatment.
Down time following treatment is minimal. Clients receive post treatment advice and are encouraged to contact the clinic if they have any queries following treatment.
Full treatment consists of two sessions conducted approximately four weeks apart.
A follow up sessions is advised after six months to improve and maintain results.
Profhilo is a very safe treatment with no long-term adverse effects. As with any injectable treatments, there is a small risk of bruising and swelling at the injection site. These side effects are unusual and generally resolve quickly if they do occur.
To date, Profhilo has been administered over a million times worldwide with no known serious side effects recorded.
The consultation fee is redeemable against the cost of the respective treatment if it takes within four weeks of the consultation. If indicated, there may be the option of treatment at the time of the initial consultation.

Late cancellation policy: There is no late cancellation fee if you change or cancel your appointment more than 24 hours in advance. Under this time, any cancellations or non-attendances will be charged and deposits and pre-payments will be used. Deposits and pre-payments are non-transferrable between clients.

What happens to the injected products as the benefits are wearing off?
The skinbooster product will gradually be degraded by the body’s own mechanisms and will disappear without residue. Once they fully wear off, the results of treatment will also fully and gradually disappear.
Is there any after care?
Post treatment after care advice is emailed to clients following their treatment. We offer post treatment reviews should any client wish to discuss the results of their dermal filler treatment with the doctor.
Mr Hodges is a highly regarded and 
experienced consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon, with a passion for treating conditions of the face, mouth, neck and jaws with precision to obtain the best aesthetic and functional outcomes.
A leading surgeon in his field, Mr Hodges was a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon at King’s College Hospital for over ten years before becoming a full time private oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
An experienced teacher of surgeons at all stages of their career, Mr Hodges provides regular training to GPs and dentists. He acts as a scientific paper reviewer for the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has been widely published in the maxillofacial surgery arena.
