What to Prepare Before You Attend:

• Pre-Appointment Consultation Form: You will receive a brief medical form by email upon booking. Please complete this prior to your visit so our doctor can review your background in advance.
• Relevant Medical Documents: Please bring along (or email ahead) any recent test results, hospital letters, imaging reports, or current prescription lists.
• Accompanying Support: You are always welcome to bring a partner, family member, or friend along to your appointment.

Skin & Mole Checks (Dermoscopy)

Moles and skin blemishes naturally evolve, but changes in shape, size, colour, or texture should always be assessed by a medical doctor. Early detection of atypical changes is key to effective skin health management.

• Clinical Dermoscopy: High-magnification examination of individual skin lesions to assess structure and pigment patterns accurately.
• Focused Assessments: Options available for evaluating up to 3 individual lesions, as well as extended full-body skin check sessions.
• Clear Clinical Pathways: Immediate guidance on whether a lesion is benign, suitable for in-clinic removal, or warrants a fast-track specialist referral.

Corticosteroid Joint & Soft Tissue Injections

Corticosteroids are powerful anti-inflammatory agents that target localized inflammation to relieve chronic discomfort, reduce swelling, and restore mobility.

• Areas Treated: Shoulder, elbow, wrist, thumb, knee, and ankle joints.
• Soft Tissue Conditions: Tennis/golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, trochanteric (hip) bursitis, plantar fasciitis, and Morton’s neuroma.
• Same-Day Treatment: Following a clinical examination and treatment plan, suitable candidates may proceed with their injection during the same appointment.

Medical Hay Fever Management

For patients experiencing severe allergic rhinitis (affecting eyes, sinuses, and breathing) that remains unmanaged by daily over-the-counter antihistamines and nasal sprays.

Our GP services operate on a transparent, pay-as-you-go basis with no health insurance required. There is no additional charge for issuing private prescriptions.

Prescription Information:

While there is no fee for the doctor writing your private prescription, the medication cost charged at the dispensing pharmacy is separate and not covered by NHS exemptions or prepayment certificates.

Please Note: The Artemis Clinic is a pre-booked outpatient private practice. We do not provide acute emergency care, walk-in clinics, out-of-hours cover, or direct referrals into NHS hospital pathways. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department.

Dr Keith Fraser brings over three decades of distinguished clinical experience in primary care medicine and minor surgical procedures. Originally establishing his medical career in Yorkshire—where he practiced for over 25 years with a focus on general family medicine and women’s health—Dr Fraser is known for his thorough, approachable, and unhurried clinical manner.

A pioneer in community-based surgical care, Dr Fraser co-founded one of the UK’s earliest secondary referral hubs for minor surgery, performing procedures for over twenty years before relocating to the South East. At The Artemis Clinic, he delivers private GP consultations, comprehensive mole and skin evaluations, and targeted joint injections.
